Privacy policy
This policy covers the Improvisr pre-launch website and the local-first beta app.
Information we collect
The pre-launch website records a pending beta request containing the email address you submit, your optional instrument choice, the form source, and the request time. A pending request is not treated as confirmed marketing consent. Hosting and security providers may also process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, request path, and timestamps. The local-first beta app stores practice preferences, favorites, and session history on your device. Accounts, cloud sync, cloud analytics, advertising identifiers, and cross-app tracking are disabled in the current beta.
How we use information
We use pending-request information to manage future beta access, prevent abuse, and understand which instruments prospective beta users play. Product or launch marketing requires a separate email-confirmation step that is not yet active. We use technical logs to operate and secure the site. We do not sell personal information or use it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Service providers
The site uses Vercel for hosting and Turso for waitlist storage. These providers process information only to operate the site and are subject to their own security and retention practices.
Retention and deletion
We keep waitlist records until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete them, or they are no longer needed for beta and launch communications. Provider security logs follow the provider's retention period. You may ask to access, correct, or delete your waitlist information by emailing us. Deleting the beta app removes local app data unless it is included in a device backup controlled by you.
Cookies and browser signals
The current site does not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. Because no cross-site tracking occurs, Global Privacy Control and Do Not Track signals do not change site behavior. Essential hosting or security cookies may be used if required to deliver the site.
Your choices
You may unsubscribe from product emails using the link in an email or by contacting us. You may also ask us to withdraw consent and delete your waitlist record. The beta app can be used without creating an account.
Children
Improvisr is intended for musicians aged 13 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 through the waitlist.
Changes to this policy
We will post material changes on this page and update the effective date. If a change materially expands how we use waitlist information, we will provide additional notice before applying the change where required.
